This is a semi-detached house on the edge of a conservation area of Easingwold.

Our clients are a family of four who are beginning to outgrow their existing property.  Their wish was to create a better entrance that will form a welcoming hallway and be able to house a utility room which they currently lack, yet every busy household needs.

The design is a double storey front extension so that they can have a larger family bathroom and a better sized third bedroom at first floor level.

​

The proposals also convert the loft into a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room and views to the rear garden through a new dormer window.

All the materials specified for the extension has been selected to match the existing house so that it remains sympathetic to the character of the property and the conservation area.
